Molded pulp packaging that protects and performs

Molded pulp packaging is often seen as a sustainable packaging solution, but not all molded pulp is the same. At PaperFoam®, we’ve developed a next-generation molded packaging material that offers better precision, protection and sustainability compared to conventional fiber trays. It’s a smart, plastic-free packaging alternative for companies that demand function and sustainability in equal measure.

What is molded pulp packaging?

Molded pulp (or molded fiber) packaging is created by shaping a pulp mixture into specific forms. While traditional pulp trays are made from paper waste or cardboard, PaperFoam® uses renewable ingredients such as industrial starch, fibers, and water to create lightweight trays that look and feel premium.

Unlike many other molded pulp materials, our packaging is home compostable, biodegradable, and recyclable with paper. It breaks down naturally without releasing toxins or microplastics.
